The regular season is over, and that means we're seeing a lot of mock drafts. They're always fun to look at and we'll take a look at them regularly, but one big database to get a good overview may be even better.
Who will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft? That's a question we would all like the answer to, but we're not getting that answer for now. What we are getting is a ridiculous amount of mock drafts, and all the unfounded speculation that comes with it. Free agency hasn't even happened yet!
To give us a little bit of oversight over these mock drafts, I've stolen an idea from the Phinsider -- a mock draft database. I'll include as many mock drafts as I can find, unless they are completely ridiculous or outdated. I've stuck with mock drafts produced after the season ended so they at least have the draft order for the first 20 picks right, but this list will likely expand in the future. And if you find a mock draft that isn't on this list, feel free to send it to me. And yes, I've included the mock drafts in the fanposts.
As for the results, they shouldn't surprise anyone: cornerback Johnthan Banks is by far the most frequently selected player. 12 draftniks mocked him to the Buccaneers. Second was Dee Milliner, who was already gone in most mock drafts: he shows up five times. DE Barkevious Mingo got three mentions, while DE Ezekiel Ansah got two: both from Bucs Nation fanposts. DT Jonathan Hankins was mocked to the Bucs twice, while DE Dion Jordan and DE Sam Montgomery both got one mention. The award for "what the hell" selection of the week goes to G Jonathan Cooper, which just makes no sense whatsoever.
