I'm seriously getting tired of all these debates about how Freeman isn't good enough or how he he isn't a good quarterback at all. I understand Freeman is inconsistent and has questionable decision making but he's isn't bad. Actually, Freeman is very good. Our quarterback is 24 years old, guys. He can develop better decision making abilities on the field and off the field. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought that gun range incident last year wasn't well thought out like a lot of his throws this this year. Josh is in a new offense and it's fairly complicated. It's not your normal offense that you have your receivers running one route no matter what the defense presents. Josh is in offense where they have "Read routes" If they (receivers and Josh) see a certain coverage, there is certain route for it. They ALL have to be on the same page (Please, don't be douches.Defenses disguise there plays a lot) . A big reason why Eli has struggled so much over the years but he has 2 super bowls. I'm surprised Josh did as well as he did his 1st season in this offense (with a crap pass defense). Surprised he didn't force more, but it shows he is improving.

But I find it very funny that some of y'all think Alex Smith would do better in his offense. Alex only looks good because of his ELITE defense. He is a game manager, nothing more. Some think Josh Freeman can't lead us to the playoffs (How naive). When Josh had a decent defense in 2010 we went 10-6 and lost in the tiebreaker to the Packers (they went on to win the super bowl) Next year our defense went from 9th in defensive scoring to last in the league..Only few(Really, just a few) quarterbacks have the feat of having a winning record with a terrible defense. Josh is not that good at all (As, we have witnessed by far). But, if we can just give him a decent defense we would be in the playoffs right now. He is really talented and we have seen he is clutch and works hard as hell. I keep hearing all this B.S about (Luck, RG3, Russel Wilson). Look, Josh is better than all 4 of those players *Right Now*. Let me say this again. *Right Now*.. They all run way different offenses than the one we are running. Luck has a somewhat weak division and he isn't exactly playing great. Russell Wilson is playing pretty darn well but he has a GREAT defense to fallback on (Ranked 1st in defensive scoring). RG3 has been good also but he also has been in a surprisingly weak division this year.

I can understand wanting competition just in case Josh doesn't work out in the long run but I do understand why people want him to go now. COULD HE PLEASE GET A DECENT DEFENSE BEFORE WE MAKE THE DECISION? He hasn't been greatest but he certainly have not been the worst AT ALL. I'm sure if we had a somewhat decent defense we would be in the playoffs. Screw this rant...I'm bout to drink more of this Jack Daniels. I come to believe some of y'all are just Freeman haters.
