Phil Sears-US PRESSWIRE
Former Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Greg Olson is getting another opportunity.
The Oakland Raiders have hired Greg Olson as their offensive coordinator. Greg Olson was the Buccaneers' offensive coordinator from 2009 to 2011, and he was fired last year along with the rest of the coaching staff. Olson acted as the Jaguars' quarterbacks coach the past season, coaching Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne to no real successes.

Olson was the subject of much hatred from Buccaneers fans, mostly for a lackluster offense and eternal slow starts, as well as the infamous Benn'd-around. Still, Olson did preside over a successful 2010, arguably Josh Freeman's best season and Legarrette Blount's breakout year. It's just a shame that he also presided over the rather disastrous 2011 showing, when the Bucs trotted out one of the league's worst offenses and seemingly every single player regressed.
