Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE
Adrian Clayborn missed most of last season with a knee injury, which led to some pretty major problem on defense. Despite a decent amount of talent, the Bucs struggled to get to the quarterback without Adrian Clayborn, although it should be noted they weren't exactly blowing up quarterbacks with him, either. Still, Clayborn was the Bucs' best pass rusher in his rookie season, and he was robbed of a sophomore season by a knee injury. It appears that he's on the road to recovery, however, as he sent out the following two tweets today:
Bout to see my doc...hopefully I get some good news and I can start running 😁

Knee is good! 🙌🙌

This doesn't mean Clayborn would be ready to play tomorrow, but it does mean that he can now start his rehab in full. In addition, when Clayborn does return it will likely take a while for him to get back to full form. Even so, if Clayborn can return for the start of the 2013 season, the Buccaneer pass rush should be much improved.
