Who could have predicted this: the New England Patriots will once again get to battle for the right to appear in the Super Bowl. The Patriots dominated the Houston Texans in what was a rather boring blowout in the end, despite a late comeback attempt on the part of Houston. The Patriots will face the Baltimore Ravens at home in the AFC Championship game. The Ravens, of course, beat the Denver Broncos yesterday to earn their place in the championship game.
And so we come to two legends facing off. Will Ray Lewis say goodbye to the NFL with a second Super Bowl berth, or will Tom Brady continue to add to his impressive collection of prizes with a sixth Super Bowl appearance? Interesting note for Buccaneers fans: Aqib Talib would be in the Super Bowl, all because the Bucs traded him to the Patriots at midseason.
We'll find out next Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, when the Ravens and Patriots will appear in the AFC Championship game. For all the coverage on the Patriots, head on over to Pats Pulpit while Baltimore Beatdown should have you covered on the Ravnes.
