Per Roy Cummings' twitter feed, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have cut utility defensive lineman E.J. Wilson and safety Sean Baker. Wilson's cut is reportedly confirmed by his agent. This comes as a huge surprise as the defensive line practically has no depth with the cuts of Frank Okam and Amobi Okoye, and Wilson reportedly had a good, if not great preseason.
Baker didn't make too many splashes in camp until he set the world on fire in the fourth preseason game, intercepting two passes and a fumble recovery.
If other "reports" are to be believed the Buccaneers have now cut Keith Tandy, Cody Grimm, Larry Asante and Sean Baker, leaving the team with only three safeties, Ronde Barber, Ahmad Black, and Mark Barron.
It's important to note that both Grimm and Tandy's agents have told the media that they have not been made award of either player's release.
