With no team activities for a few weeks, there's not a lot of real news being reported. Well, with the exception of that Price/Barron scuffle due to a musical chairs misunderstanding. One thing we do know is our opponents for the season.
Last week I had the chance to work with RGIII for a Gatorade commercial. We shot at IMG in Bradenton,FL. I worked close to Mr. Griffin III as I was technically his handler on set.We had some assistants catching balls from him off camera just we could see his throwing motion. He had them backing up for their lives with seemingly no effort and they were no more than 30 feet away. We had him go through some throwing drills with catching nets as targets. On the very first run/take of the shoot without much warming up, this guy landed them perfectly in stride. First thought: "Damn! Week 4 could be scary..." This cat is good. SCARY GOOD. Maybe even Newton/Vick good...maybe better.
It also hit me that we have the most mobile QBs in the last decade on our schedule this year. Of all the teams we face, who do you think is the SCARIEST?
