Hello Bucs Nation. I was wondering, as the title obviously states, what the consensus was on Da'quan Bowers? the 2011 draft was the first draft that I seriously followed, and I remember Bowers being rated as one of the best players of the draft. Unfortunately, because of a knee condition, he was selected at 51st overall by you guys. Glancing at the stats, he was obviously hampered by the serious knee injury and was probably used as a rotational DE. However, I'm curious. Why did he register 1.5 sacks in the middle of the year against Carolina and then none afterwards? Did he apply regular pressure to the quarterback? More importantly, do you expect an expanded role for him in 2012, or do you expect to ease him in? Thanks in advance, I'm just curious about how one of the highest rated players of the 2011 draft is faring.
