It seems like the majority of Bucsnation is down on K2. But I am not one of them. Did he have a down year? Yes. Almost everyone on offense did. But he still produced alot. Has he lost some speed? Yes. But, he is still a great receiver and he has the ability to run good routes to get open. Can he block? No. But plenty of tight ends nowadays really aren't that good of blockers. Tight ends are a QB's best friend. Why get rid of our best TE? I think the addition of Vincent Jackson will allow K2 one on one matchups instead of being double teamed like he was all last year. But even with Jackson we cant throw downfield all the time. We need to be able to throw balls underneath and K2 can do that. If we trade or cut him it would be stupid. Because now we have to depend on Luke Stocker who is unproven, and maybe another rookie TE who would get drafted. Getting rid of Winslow would be a mistake that we regret. Lets not do Winslow like we did Rudd.
