So everybody is all over the place with this running back scenarios. Some want Richardson to come in and be the starter and have Blount be the complementary back. Some think that Blount will bounce back and become great with coaching but still want to get a 2nd or 3rd round pick to spell him and provide some speed that we desperately lack. Some think that Blount may not be cut out for the starting role but think drafting a RB at 5 overall is just not god. Ok I get that. But what about Mossis Madu? The young man certainly could improve with coaching and a full offseason and as some have said, with our new O-line "any running back could run behind that line". He has the potential to become just what you are asking for. No real threat to take Blounts job. But could be that 3rd down back that had speed and could pair very well with Blount. So to those who want to grab a 2nd or 3rd round RB STRICTLY FOR BEING A BACKUP TO BLOUNT (because you believe he will be our starter), why no love for Madu?
