The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used the fifth pick of the fifth round (140th overall) on Najee Goode, a linebacker our of West Virginia. Goode played both strongside and middle linebacker at West Virginia, but seems like he'd fit best at middle linebacker in the NFL. He looks like a two-down thumper at middle linebacker, but his play at West Virginia was inconsistent, and he really struggles in coverage.
Still, the Bucs added competition at linebacker, and at this point in the draft it's very hard to evaluate the drafted players well. Still, that won't stop us from asking your opinion on the pick. So, what do you think of him? Do you like Goode, or don't you? Should the Bucs have gone with a linebacker, or a different position? Will Goode stick on the roster or even push for a starting position, or will he just be another camp body who washes out of the league quickly? Let us know in the poll and the comments!
