Falcons have traded for Asante Samuel.

According to NFL.com

The deal to send cornerback Asante Samuel to the Atlanta Falcons from the Philadelphia Eagles has been finalized, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network's Albert Breer.

It's not yet known what the Falcons will send the Eagles in return for the nine-year veteran.

Samuel and the Falcons have agreed to terms on a three-year, $18.5 million deal.

That's pretty big. I would have never expected of all teams the Falcons do trade for him. Looks like we will see a nice Grimes-Samuel combination two times a year.
