And with the first pick...

In the 2012 NFL draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: _________________

Ok, as of now we have no idea what we are going to do. I'm not even sure if they know what they're going to do yet. (Partially because the draft is largely effected by the #3 and #4 pick.) There have been so many arguments back and forth between Claiborne and Richardson-which we could use both in a perfect dream world, but this is reality. There have been many reports of the Vikings hoping to trade out of #3. IF that happens and if I was working for the organization, I'm picking Matt Kalil and locking up the front line for the next few years. You build through free agency and the draft right? That would give us the best line we have ever even dreamt of having. Again, that's IF the Vikings make a move.

So, lets say they don't make the move and select Kalil and he's off the board. Lets say with a curve ball (yet not so far fetched) Cleveland chooses either Blackmon or Tannehill. There we are with either Claiborne or Richardson. My pick: neither. Yes we could use a RB, yes we desperately need another corner; however this year we have so many more gaps to fill. Richardson will do well, and Claiborne is ready to start. I'm trading out (if it were my choice of course.) Claiborne is the best corner hands down, but we could still trade out and get Kirkpatrick or Kuechly plus pick up an extra draft pick. RB's are a dime a dozen in this draft, of course not on the level of Richardson I'll give you that. If it were my draft choice, I'm spending a 2nd rounder on David WIlson. I wouldn't hate a Claiborne/WIlson 1st and 2nd, I just think we need more from this draft. I'd even take a Rainey in the 3rd round (if WIlson wasn't available) People tend to forget Blount's capabilities. I don't think we have seen his full potential. Can't blame an offensive line for fumbles, however I can blame them for lack of opportunities for the hard hitter. (No pun intended) Why give up on the talent before we know exactly what he has to offer? David Wilson is a change of pace that could realistically still land us Claiborne. I'm just for trading out and selecting more for our money. We could also try and trade WInslow for a 3rd, but that's a completely different fan post!

Is it April 26th yet?!
