2012 Free Agency: Safety

LaRon Landry hasn’t played a whole lot of football in recent seasons, but it looks like he’s still been lifting weights. Or elephants. Or elephants stuffed with weights.

That quote taken from washingtonpost.com/blogs/

Tampa Bay is ready. Fanatics are ready. Greg Schiano is more than ready. Free Agency this year is unique in many, many ways. But, in particular, is it's lack of Linebackers, and it's overflow of Wide Outs have us sitting on the edge of our seats. We have been flooded with the ideas of two Free Agents recently regarding the keeping of, our kicker, and of, signing the superbowl miracle himself. But, that is why I would like to identify a possition that seems to be being overlooked.

Sean Jones will likely not return as our starting Strong Safety. Now, over the past two seasons, this Redskin has only played enough games to add up to one full season, but I think that's the perfect detail that will let him slide under the radar, and into a Buc uniform. LaRon Landry is one of the hardest hitting defenders I have ever seen in my lifetime, and has impeccable timing. With Morris Claiborne starting at corner, Tanard Jackson (returned to strength), and LaRon Landry overtop of them both, all underneith Coach Schiano's oversite and direction, we would have one of the hardest hitting defenses that everyone would fear.

I dare you to see his latest pictures. His achillies injury hasn't slowed him down at all.
