According to NFL Networks Jason LaCanfora, the Bucs have been denied permission to speak to yet another coaching candidate. This time it was the New York Giants Offensive quality control coach Kevin Gilbride Jr.
With only the quarterback coaching position left to fill, one would assume that was the role Gilbride would have interviewed for. Last year, Gilbride worked with current Bucs offensive coordinate and former Giants quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan.
In more positive news, Tampa recently hired former Raiders special teams coordinator Bob Ligashesky as their new special teams coach.
