Buccaneers vs. Eagles Inactives: Roy Miller, LeQuan Lewis Out

Stay connected for news and updates

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face the impressive Philadelphia Eagles rushing offense without nose tackle Roy Miller. Miller has been crucial in the Bucs league-leading run defense, but is out with a head injury. Gary Gibson will likely take over for Miller, while Corvey Irvin and new addition Pep Levingston could also see some time at defensive tackle.

In addition, we'll be seeing a new kick returner. Cornerback LeQuan Lewis is out, while no one who has returned a kickoff this season is available today. Wide receiver Chris Owusu is a likely candidate to take over as kick returner.

For the Eagles, no surprises. The big names (Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy) are both out, while Kurt Coleman, Mike Patterson and Chris Polk are a few other notable inactives.

Full Inactives

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: DT Roy Miller, CB LeQuan Lewis, RB Michael Smith, LB Najee Goode, WR David Douglas, WR David Gilreath and DT Matthew Masifilo.

Philadelphia Eagles: QB Michael Vick, WR Greg Salas, RB LeSean McCoy, RB Chris Polk, S Kurt Coleman, DT Mike Patterson and T Matt Kopa.
