It's Christmas time, and that means I want me some presents. The Buccaneers haven't been very giving the past five weeks, though, leaving me with a sour taste after every single game. Whether the losses were close and competitive or simply blowouts, it was all just horrible. The one thing I can look back on now: at least we didn't have to sit through ten consecutive losses. It was just five, this time.
Maybe the Bucs will extend that to six on Sunday. Maybe they indeed will be that cruel. Because truth be told: I can't take solace in a better draft pick. It may better in the long term (though that's debatable), but I just can't stand losing. I hate watching an noncompetitive team lose yet another game. I hated every second of that ten-game losing streak. I've hated every second of this five-game losing streak. And I just want a win. Draft position? No. Give me a win.
And even if the Bucs have to face backup Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, I just want them to beat them. And beat them good. A good, old-fashioned beatdown is what I want. Can you give me that, Buccaneers? Or will I have to settle for a better draft pick?
So what do you want for Christmas? A win, like me? Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets for next year? A massive stereo system? A draft pick? Let us know in the comments!
