The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to face the Atlanta Falcons without their only good cornerback, as Eric Wright will miss today's game with an Achilles injury. He's struggled with the injury for most of the season, and it caused him to miss large parts of the past two games. Without Wright, the Bucs are expected to start E.J. Biggers and Leonard Johnson at cornerback, with LeQuan Lewis coming in as the nickel cornerback.
The Atlanta Falcons will try to take advantage of a weak Tampa Bay secondary, and they will do so with star receiver Julio Jones. Despite being listed as questionable, the Falcons will play Julio Jones. Not only will Jones play, but the only other significant player to miss today's contest for Atlanta will be defensive tackle Peria Jerry. Cornerback Asante Samuel and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon will both play.
The Falcons will no doubt go after the Bucs' cornerbacks, and with both White and Jones active this could be a very rough day on defense for Tampa Bay.
