I know we all want to win 1 of the next 2 games. Even if we don't. We're still in it. Let's say we lose to the falcons and broncos. We would be 6-6. I know you wanted the Bucs to go on this crazy awesome win streak against mediocre teams, and they did. We all thought lets go 6-4 or 7-3. Well that happened. I know I was thinking that these next 2 games were not the must win games. I was thinking that the Bucs would split new Orleans and the Falcons would sit their players on the last game.
Now the national media is telling us this IS a must win game. I understand what they're saying. We need to beat a good team. I don't really believe that. I believe that the saints will fall to the 49ers, giving up any hope. Rams and Eagles? If we can't beat them we don't deserve to be there anyways.
The only thing I'm concerned about is. I really think the Falcons need to stay on a roll. I really believe that if their players stay on the bench in week 17. It will actually help our team. Obviously. Our Bucs team isn't great. We're kinda good. We get better by the week, and as long as we can beat the teams we should and pull out 1 upset. We could go to the playoffs.
We could keep getting better in the post season, and maybe win a game. I almost love this team more than any Bucs team we've had. I know I will get slayed on this comment, but in our glory days. Which was almost 10 years long. Not 10 years ago. ( which it was) but 10 years long. We should have had 2 or 3 super bowls out of that. Believe it or not. There is a reason Dungy got the pink slip. He wasn't ready. He was a great coach and I love him. But it was the offensive mind in Gruden that brought us over the top. Just a little more offensive knowledge would have given Dungy multiple rings.
Schiano is also a defensive coach, but with Sully, and Mark D, This could be a team for the ages. It seems we have smart people in every position. I don't think this team is going to stumble on the formula to win like last time. I think we will find the formula to win for years to come.
