I eluded to Blounts attitude before the draft when it was clear that we would draft a RB early to come in and be the starting RB because of Blount underachieving and being a limited back. He made comments about the im not wanting the Brandon Jacobs role and how he wouldnt like the Bucs drafting Richardson at the time. Well we have Doug Martin and he took his job and Blount was forced to the backup role where he could have been very effective if he wanted to but he doesnt seem to into it. Fans have hoped that he would hold onto the starting spot, and he couldnt. People were calling for Martin to be the 3rd down back and for Blount to start after Martin wasnt able to get any runs from the constant runs up the middle. Even I have said that Blount needed more touches. But even when he has touched the ball he has done very little to warrant more touches.

He hasnt improved as a runner as many fans wished. He still hasnt shown he can block very well and is still struggling as a short yardage runner. And he seems disgruntled and he just doesnt seem that into playing for this team anymore because he isnt starting. Now the trade rumors are coming out. So do you think his days here are numbered?
