Buccaneers Coaching Search Repository
As the Bucs' coaching search continues, we keep writing new stories about it. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a central spot for the key stories. That would be this fanpost - if everyone could rec it it can stay at the top of the fanposts list so it's easily accessible for everyone.

There is also a rumor
that Giants DC Perry Fewell could be on the Bucs’ radar. Would be nice to see him coach up our d-line.
Nice that would be a smart move!!!
but why not Spagnoula ? wasn’t he the giants D-Coordinator when they won the super bowl?
Really?

Yes he was.
He is rumored to be on the eagles radar. Would love for him to be our DC.

I don't understand the obsession with hiring defensive minded coaches in the era of offence.

Agreed100%
Hell, Even took Tebow to the playoffs :0 Besides Green Bay, Patriots, and Saints. But no one else has Rogers, Brady, and Brees either. Every other team in the play offs has been riding there stellar defenses here.
At this point I just want it to be done
We have no control of we get..I just want to see what direction they decide to go..I’m ok with Marty, Zim, and Chud being at the helm but personally think Marty would be best choice to bring in experienced Cooridinators

Hopefully coordinators that at one day would be in a great position to take over the team

Poor planning on Bucs part
This is where even a couple of days make a huge difference.
Better start getting our coaching staff together.
How do u feel about...
Marty – HC
Hue Jackson-OC
Mike Zimmer – DC(asst HC)
Zimmer being groomed to take over. Plus him and Jackson have history too.
It would allow Marty a little time to mold this young team into winners.
Then allowing Zimmer to take over control while he was already apart of the molding process. And i believe Hue Jackson ( if things go the way we hope) will stay on as an OC.
This is just my thought of being able to have our cake and eat it too. Most of us want either Mart or Zimmer or BOTH. To have both and allow Zimmer to be groomed to be the HC. This becomes a Short-term AND long-term fix!
First two sound ideal
but there’s no reason for Zimmer to make a parallel move, nor a reason for the Bengals to let him do so.
With the 5th pick of the 2012 NFL draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select....

Zimmer has ties with Marty...
and if he is DC + Asst HC, being groomed to take over the team in the next 3-5. I think it could possibly sway his opinion. But that is merely a fantasy pick.
How do you feel about Rob Tulsa? I believe i spelled it right. D-Line Coach from the 49ers. I keep hearing his name come up as a good up and coming D-Coord.
I felt like hue jackson deserved another year

Best news i've heard.
Brian Schottenhiemer is looking to join Fisher in St. Louis. Which would mean he wouldn’t be joining his father here. Incase we do decide to grab up Marty.
Fisher is now talking to the ex-Raider HC Hue Jackson
about being his OC.
