We have already interviewed Mike Sherman, Marty Schottenheimer, Brad Childress, and Jerry Gray. Three of the four were head coaches at one point in time, and I will say Gray was interviewed to satisfy the Rooney rule, he was one of the first to be interviewed and was the only non head coach to be interviewed. That right there shows me he was given a shot to pass the Rooney rule. Anyway now we are lining up interviews with Mike Zimmer (my personal favorite), and Rob Chudzinski, and who knows if anymore will follow. I like what the Glazers and Dom are doing here. They interviewed a few old shool, respected coaches, who would all install discipline into this team. They are now going after coordinators who are a little bit younger, but have been coaching for quite some time. I know Chud has only been a coordinator for one season but he has been around the block for a while and coached some damn good tight ends down at "The U". I think the Glazers are going to see if these coordinators have philosophies compared to the ex head coaches, and the one who is closest wins the gig. If not, then I see us rolling with whichever ex head coach they like the most, most likely Sherman or Shottenheimer. What you guys think?
