Buccaneers - Falcons 24-45 Postgame Thread - Another Blowout Makes For Ten Straight Losses
The Bucs were embarrassed in the first half yet again. After one half, the score was 42-7. Somehow, they managed to score a bunch of points against a prevent defense, making the final score 45-24. Turnovers, penalties and complete ineptitude on defense - that about sums up the game and this season.
The Bucs have now set a team record for points allowed this season, and they are tied for fourth in NFL history on that statistic. Yeah, it's been real, Raheem.
Discuss the game, the NFL, the draft et cetera here.

I'm so excited I won't be able to sleep all night waiting for the news of the end of the clown
Rahdumb the clown and the not ready for prime time players are the worst team in Buc history, the 1976 squad gets a pass cause they were an expansion team, there is no excuse for this garbage!

Get rid of Radio, Winslow, Penn and all the other thugs and chumps.
We need stand up guys on this team, and a change of culture.

Eh, I don't think we gain anything by cutting Penn
Left tackles don’t grow on trees.
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.
Penn is okay
He gets a pass.

I agree with you.
we need a complete over haul. Time to change the culture around One Buc and Tampa.
Come on Browns
55 yards to go- you can do it!
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.
I hope they win.
Remember Joe Thomas? I do.

Bleh
Ah well, #5 overall is still a great spot to pick.
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.
Absolutely
The question is, will the Vikings take him? I think they’ll definitely be looking to trade down with the RG3 seekers- and if they can do it, who do the Browns take?
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.
Luck, Rg3 (trade), Kalil, Blackmon
Fingers crossed.
Yugly.

If Claiborne's still on the board when the Browns pick
We’ve got a real good chance to pull it off. Cleveland’s got Joe Haden, and their defense is decent- it’s their offense that needs an overhaul.
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.
Luck and kalil are gonne for sure
So we got to get through 2 picks

AFC is a total crapshoot
I’d give the Ravens the edge, and they lose in the Super Bowl to either the Packers or Saints.
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.

On an unrelated note, how awful is the AFC West this year?
Three teams tie at 8-8 and one is 7-9? Tebow got to the playoffs, sure, but that was souch an ugly way to make it.
Nine straight losses and counting- time to go, Raheem.
Outscored something like 210-90 over last 5 games.
As you can always expect come from behind victory is when you least expect it.
193-88 to be exact
I just did my math looking up the scores
Waited a day late but the miserable 2011 yr is over yay.
I have watched bad Buccaneer football over the recent yrs but nothing compares to this yr. I haven’t been this miserable watching this team since I been a fan of this team, it will be an intersting offseason. I know Rah is the biggest scapegoat in this mess and I am whatever with if he gets fired or if he stays, but it won’t matter who is coaching this team unless the people upstairs change their ways on how to build a team. Lets hire Jeff Fisher we will get back to being a championship team with cutting the few vets we have and yet be the youngest team for the 3rd straight yr.
For those that have been around
Which team was worse to watch this years bucs or the horrible buc teams of the past?

This year without a doubt.
The teams of the 80’s were expected to be bad.

I been a fan of this team since 2000
I don’t know much of the days of the creamsicle uniforms but in 2004, 2006, 2009 we had expected this team to suck from wk1. The worse yr I had watched was the 2008 season just from the collapse we had because we were 9-3 and looked like we were a 4-12 in those 4 games. This yr tops it after a 10-6 season looking like a team on the rise and to start this yr 4-2 then to completely collaspe and not even being competive is disheartning as what Ronde said just from 1 game after the Texan loss
This year was the worst
Expectations were higher. In the mid-late 80’s everyone knew the Bucs would suck…so it wasn’t as much a surprise and didn’t seem to be the same level of disgust.
My first Bucs game was in 91. Been to hundreds of games over the past 20 years...
home and away. This is the most embarrassed and hopeless I’ve ever felt.
The thing is...
….from the hiring of Raheem to many of the recent draft picks…I saw it coming from a mile away. We’re in a deep hole.
Well said and directly to the point.
