Daily Bucs Links 9/30/11 - Colts pass rushers will challenge Bucs tackles
Securing ball critical for Freeman, Bucs | TBO.com
I'm not too worried about the turnovers. Four turnovers in three games isn't disastrous. I'm much more worried about the fact that Freeman is having trouble moving the team down the field. This focus on turnovers is very Buc Ball-ish.

Jeremy Trueblood is going to get crushed by Robert Mathis.
Bucs T Penn faces next challenge in Colts DE Freeney | TBO.com
Penn shouldn't have as much problems with Freeney as Trueblood will with Mathis, but Freeney is probably the best pass-rushing defensive end in the league.
Brees, Freeman thrive on third downs - NFC South Blog - ESPN
That completion percentage is inflated because of many dumpoffs that ended up short of a first down.
Bucs could be facing Curtis Painter - NFC South Blog - ESPN
I'm not sure if I'd rather the Bucs face Painter or Kerry Collins, but it's good either way.

Hayes has quietly had a pretty good year so far. He's more consistent than before, I think.

The Bucs rank as one of the worst pass blocking lines. I strongly disagree here: the line has done pretty decently given the elite pass rushers they've faced so far.

I'm sure the plan to neutralize both ends is to give them a heavy dose of Blount, and not give them very many opportunities to get to Free.
And when Free does drop back, we should have a tight end or back either chip the end or stay to help both of our tackles. Penn is in just as much trouble as Trueblood just because of how good Freeney is.
Has no one made an ask Stampede Blue Q+A thread?
"Well, if you guessin' it's me, you guessed correctly
I just stay with a stallion, you would swear I was an equestrian
I hit her with that pipe, call that Nancy Kerrigan
Stay on the greenest greens, call us vegetarians
You be on that minor league, but we smoke professionally"
Apparently not...
I am not connected to that site, but I would be happy to start an Ask-A-Colts Fan thread.

I just made an Ask Bucs Fans thread over there...
Takes one day for membership to go into effect, though…
Am I going MAD, or did the word "think" escape your lips?
I hope we bring more backside blitzes than normal.
Painter has NO pocket presence. He got crushed last week and the Colts did a bad job in blitz pickup.
And I think Trueblood will do much worse than Penn. Penn has held up against really good rushers. I understand that Freeney is elite, but Mathis is no slouch. And Trueblood can handle power rushers, but speed rushers give him problems.

On another note, i'd have to admit that i was pretty worried about Freeman...
earlier this week but last night i watched the Falcons game again and i saw that Free made some beautiful downfield throws. He went 6/6 in that drive where he made that QB sneak into the endzone. Give Free some time guys, he’ll be ok.
Still waiting for the day that the NFL comes back to LA...
