Not to be a downer, but the lack of sacks is hurting the defense.

I agree it helps to get pressure and make the quarterback hurry, but if he hurries and throws for a first down it doesn’t matter how much pressure. All this pressure should give us more than one interception. I know stats or for losers, but there is a correlation between winning and turnovers and third down completion percentage on defense. And right now our defense is lacking in those areas. Hopefully we can change that against the Falcons.

I still say that if we jammed alot

It would force the QB to hold onto it longer and maybe sacks will come?

Jamming could work

Aqib can jam, but I don’t know if Ronde or EJ have the strength for it. Especially this week against someone like Julio. Myron Lewis could jam, he is physical. But he may get a hangnail in the process…
