Luke Stocker, Ahmad Black and Anthony Gaitor all signed their rookie contracts today. Adrian Clayborn, Da'Quan Bowers, Mason Foster and Anthony Gaitor had all signed their contracts, making Allen Bradford the only rooking not yet signed. That should pose no problems, though.
The quick signings will allow the Bucs to get the rookies into training camp as quickly as possible, which is of paramount importance as the Bucs plan on leaning heavily on rookies this year. Da'Quan Bowers, Adrian Clayborn and Mason Foster are all pegged for starting roles and Luke Stocker is expected to be a big part of the offense. The quick signings are an effect of the new CBA, which has simplified the rookie signing process.
The Bucs also added LB Victory Aiyewa. The Washington Husky played alongside fellow Bucs rookie Mason Foster in college, and has a chance to play next to him again. Aiyewa played safety early on in his career, but ended his senior year as a linebacker. With 5 sacks in his final season he may have some pass rush skills, though it will be tough for him to even make the roster, as with all undrafted rookies.
