The last Buccaneers' primetime game was a very, very painful game and probably cost Jon Gruden and Bruce Allen their jobs. It was Week 14 of the 2008 Season, and it was the night the Bucs run defense collapsed. it hasn't been the same since. The Panthers ran all over the Bucs, and a team that needed just one win over the last 4 games to make the playoffs lost 4 straight. The Buc had collapsed, Gruden and Allen were fired and Raheem and Dominik took over. Since then the Bucs haven't sniffed a primetime game, despite having a great 2010 season and plenty of opportunity to be flexed to Sunday Night Football or Monday Night Football. But there's a big chance this changes today, as the Bucs' 2011 schedule will be announced this evening. So which game would you most like to see flexed? Let us know in the comments!
As a reminder, these are the Bucs opponents for the upcoming season:
Home games: New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears(played in London).
Away games: New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers.
