Over the past two weeks we've gone over the Top 10 Busts in Buccaneers history, and it hasn't been pretty. So in the next two weeks while building up to the draft we're going to discuss the Top 10 Draft Hits in Bucs History. This is going to be a lot more fun, as there have been quite a few good players selected by the Bucs over the years. At #10 the first player is Warrick Dunn.
This undersized running back out of Florida State was the most explosive weapon on the Bucs offense for years on end. As a 12th overall pick he was the lone spectacular player on a number of Bucs offenses that were more otherwise stale and ineffective. He rushed for 4200 yards in 5 seasons and went to 2 Pro Bowls before moving on and becoming an Atlanta Falcon. The latter never tarnished his reputation as a Buccaneer, though, as Warrick Dunn was always a great human being. Known for his charity work, Dunn has helped many families establish a new life. Returning for a last season with the Buccaneers in 2008 he had another decently productive season before being cut as part of the re-newing process of Mark Dominik and Raheem Morris.
The list so far:
10. Warrick Dunn
