Though I have remained confident a new deal would get done, it doesn't look like it will be by tomorrow. DeMaurice Smith says the players will have an update by 2PMEST on Friday. An update doesn't sound like a resolution. Sounds like Smith will be digging in for litigation. Good take by Florio in above article.
