Buccaneers - Jaguars Injury Report: Aqib Talib Out, Josh Freeman Questionable
Josh Freeman did make some throws in practice the past two days, reportedly with some zip, but he's still listed as Questionable on the official injury report with limited participation in practice. It would be a surprise if the third-year quarterback doesn't start on Sunday, but if he doesn't Josh Johnson will get his second consecutive start.
Meanwhile, the Bucs have bigger worries: Aqib Talib has been ruled out and backup S Larry Asante, who has been getting a but of playing time in rotations, is Doubtful, while DT Albert Haynesworth is also Questionable. Missing Aqib Talib would normally be a big blow for the Bucs, but the Jacksonville Jaguars don't have the quality wideout talent to really make this a problem. Haynesworth presence usually gives the Bucs some disruption inside, and if he can't go they would have no one who could really fill that role, although Haynesworth hasn't made a big impact himself.
For the Jaguars, CB T.J. Heath, DE Aaron Kampman and DE Matt Roth are all listed as Out, which really hurts their defense. In addition they could miss S Dwight Lowery with a shoulder injury, further limiting their already depleted secondary. The Jaguars defense is pretty good when healthy, but they've been hit hard by injuries and not much is left of that stout unit.
Full Injury Report
Out: CB Aqib Talib (hamstring)
Doubtful: S Larry Asante (hamstring)
Questionable: DT Albert Haynesworth (knee), QB Josh Freeman (right shoulder)
Probable: DE Michael Bennett (groin), LB Adam Hayward (foot), T James Lee (knee), DT Brian Price (ankle), TE Luke Stocker (hip)
Jacksonville Jaguars
Out: CB T.J. Heath (shoulder), DE Aaron Kampman (hamstring), DE Matt Roth (concussion)
Questionable: S Dwight Lowery (shoulder)
Probable: DT Tyson Alualu (not injury related), RB Greg Jones (not injury related), RB Maurice Jones-Drew (not injury related), TE Marcedes Lewis (ankle), WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring), T Guy Whimper (thigh)

Jaguars sound like a MASH unit!
If we dont beat this team than we truly do suck and raheem should be shown the door at the conclusion of this game not at the end of the year.

Not sure if the outcome of this game is necessary...
to determine if we suck and Rah should be shown the door.

Please Santa, let the heads roll :B
The ship is underwater. Hard to stay afloat when Olsons IQ is weighing down the floor.
CB, read a little closer... Rah needs to go regardless,
If he cant beat the beat up jags then he should go now.. We do suck, but jags? That would be ultimate let down.

We agree on that for sure...
I hate the fact we are debating this, as Rah should have NEVER been hired in the first place. I want us to win every single week, but after analyzing the remainder of our schedule, I think this JAX game is probably our best (and only) bet.
They still have a good DEF and MJD – so this is no lock or anything.

Your right, not a lock at all.
Bucs just dont seem willing to go the extra mile for their coach….

He should have been let go after the Houston game.
So much for the Bucs lowering ticket prices, mine went up AGAIN!!!!
Seriously
I see the amount of Jags on IR, and all I can think of is that long panning shot in “Gone with the Wind” of the wounded Confederate soldiers in Atlanta- except they’re wearing Jacksonville uniforms instead of grey.
A defense ranked #31 does not inspire confidence in one's defensive coordinator. Any head coach knows this: own up to it, Raheem- hire a full time DC and put your full focus on ONE of your jobs.

I am sure glad we gave up an extra 4th Rounder to get him...
how else could we possibly find an ineffective TE that is hurt all the time?

Stocker hasn't had any rookie production
slight let down

Considering he is the equivalent of 2 draft picks...
I would say that is a mild understatement. He cost us 2 – 4th Rounders (2011 AND 2012)
Perhaps we should give him a “Michael Clayton/Quincy Black” sized contract based solely on his underachievement?

There is such a negative feeling with this team.
I really cant believe how this team has just laid down…. Hopefully they reshuffle the coaching and we get someone here who can motivate and teach these guys the game of foitball……
