Hey Bucs fans

I gotta say, the Bucs have been hurting me this year. I keep picking them because I think they’re a good team, and I keep losing. Anyway, I’m about to pick them again vs. Jacksonville.

I just wanted to check in and hear your thought on the likelihood of winning this game with / without Josh Freeman, and how the teams match up.

It’s a season-long win-lose pick’em with no spread among friends. I’m 3 points out, and the leader chose Jacksonville. Is this a place where I’m likely to pick up a game? Thanks for the input.

nygmen123: Again, without Vick or Maclin, or Cromartie. Injuries don't seem to bother them. They just bring in guys to make plays
nygmen123: Stopped the Pats on the first series. Planted Brady twice. Guess what gang? This team isn't quitting. Or making excuses.
Simms-McC: Yeah -- I wish the Giants were more like the Eagles
nygmen123: In intensity and fight? Right now, so do I.
EAGLES LOSE, 38-20.

I'd pick the Bucs here

Not because the Bucs are playing well (they’re not) but because the Jaguars are so injury-depleted, it’s hard to see how they could win. Their QB is playing terrible football, the cornerbacks are awful, the linebackers are all injured – there’s not much left except Maurice Jones-Drew. And while Jones-Drew could always take over the game, it seems more likely the Bucs will win this one.

Who was checking Steve smith?

They did a pretty good job against him?

Get it to Winslow. He's open!!!!

I’m going Bucs. Good luck!

I pick the Jags, we can't stop the run.

Exactly.

Your argument is that its only MJD well let me tell ya Sander, thats all Jacksonville EVER was; was MJD’s team. Hes the core to that offense and the only real weapon/threat. He carries that team on his back, sometimes injured knees and junk i read about. Don’t count him out seeing as though WE CAN’T STOP THE RUN. +1 bucnut

So you're tellin' me there's a chance...
Bucs’ Myron Lewis hoping for chance to prove himself

Ahem… how many chances does he need? Obviously more, because all that he has proven to this point is that he gets hurt every time the wind changes direction and that he’s a massive 3rd Round bust. Ooh… I hated that pick back when it happened. If I remember correctly, there was a run on the CB cookie jar in that draft, and all the viable players at that position were already gone by then. We ended up with the crumbs.

Was another “I am a great DB coach and I can fix him” pick by Rah.
