One Man could fix the Buccaneers
At least according to ESPN's NFC South Blogger Pat Yasinkas. He creates an imaginary situation out of thin air in which the Glazers go hat in hand to Tony Dungy to beg him to come save our franchise. Then, Tony Dungy will come in and instantly make everyone play better with the sheer force of his personality. Sounds great!
He's not saying Dungy is interested. He's not saying Morris is out the door. He's not saying the Glazers would be on board with this. He's just making things up for your reading pleasure. Yasinkas is making a strong case to top my most hated people list for 2011.

If you're a Noles fans,
He is the Heather Dinich of the NFC South.
puke
If I could wear a bucs shirt with a noles hat for the rest of my life, by golly I would be the happiest man in the world.
I love Tony Dungy, but I don't know if this would be a good move
And I strongly doubt it would happen. Dungy has consistently said that he would not return to football, he’s content with his charity and evangelical work and there’s really no reason to assume he could ever return.
In addition, you can’t live in the past in the NFL. Dungy and the Tampa 2 seem to be the past, not the future (though there’s an argument to be made that the NFL is cyclical). And there are reasons why Dungy was fired, specifically his failure to build any kind of offense. In Indianapolis he already had an offense when he walked in.
In addition, hiring former Super Bowl winning coaches hasn’t been particularly successful in the past for other franchises.
Ridiculous
What is it with people wanting the same coaches we used to have back? Dungy is gone. Get over it. Kiffen is gone. Get over it.
Yugly.
Especially Kiffin
I don’t get that at all. He’s 71! He’s not going to be a long-term solution anywhere.
You all got to believe in Dungy!
He is one helluva a guy, I would be honored to watch him Coach. He made the Bucs, and the Tampa 2. He is almost as big a coaching tree as bill Bellicheck.
Tampa 2.0 here we go. We would sell out, no doubt about it. Bring back the D in Tampa. Bring in d.Brooks to help out coaching LBers.
Hello dominance.
This deal would Lure a ton of FA’s to want to come here. What 4-3 DL, wouldnt??

Look at D. Brooks facebook pages, all he chants about it motivationing
Hes an inspiring dude. He would make one helluva coach!
The ship is underwater. Hard to stay afloat when Olsons IQ is weighing down the floor.
I think Yaksacks is a demon feeding of people's hate
Nothing else explains his constant bandwagon jumping and ill conceived articles that are sure to wind fans up.
Don’t put him on your hate list or he wins and may grow to become the next commissioner!
So I’ll send a little love to the moron.
Would I love to see Dungy hired to be a part of the organization? Hell yeah!!!
Rehired as the head coach, no way.

I'd take Dungy back as Coach, HELLS TO THE YEAH!
Bring back Tony to Coach, Herm Edwards to DC, Norv Turner to the Offense.
How bout that staff? Let’s see what Tony and company can do.
Dungy would’ve won the Superbowl, had he had a better offense.
In ways the Bucs then, in the WD-40 a Dilfer era, are similar to the Bears of today. We just need to draft our Devin Hester and trade back in the draft to gain a bunch of picks and let the most talented players fall to us. Ronde will even stay for Dungy, no doubts.
Please bring back Dungy. He is the Godfather of the Bucs.
Tony if you’re reading, get past the ineptitude of the Glazers, they sold out on you. We love you, man. Come back and show all these naysayers “Tampa 2.0”.

Are ya'll crazy?!?!
I would love bringing back Dungy as head coach and this coming from a Raheem supporter. Dungy is the perfect person with his leadership skills, always calm demeanor and heavily spiritual guidance perfect for such a young team in dire need of guidance in a positive light. Truthfully SCREW Cowher, Billick, Turner, Del Rio and anybody else, Dungy would be the perfect person for the job, bar none.. I have trust in him to assemble a a very good coaching staff and attract free agents to Tampa. His name and face alone will begin a increase in stadium population.
I don't think anybody is saying they don't want him
but rather the whole idea is ridiculous because the chances of it happening are probably less than 1%. Why not bring Vince Lombardi back from the dead while we’re at it.

Sad but true
Much as I’d love to see it happening, it ain’t happening.
A defense ranked #31 does not inspire confidence in one's defensive coordinator. Any head coach knows this: own up to it, Raheem- hire a full time DC and put your full focus on ONE of your jobs.
Only if we can bring back Gruden after that...
to replace Dungy when he gets us close again, but can’t seal the deal.
Let’s just put 1995 – 2005 on an endless loop.
Dungy would obviously be one of the better coaching choices, obviously.
Realistically, not happening. Glazers would have to beg him and they wouldnt be able to swallow their pride and do that.
A coach similar in traits like dungy would be appealing. Who out there fits that mold?
