NFC South In 5 Years
WOW! I just thought about this and was like amazed. The NFC South (In My Mind) is one of the hardest and defiantly most talented divisions in the NFL. Right Now we have some crazy good QB's (Well Most Of The Time) in Josh Freeman, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, and Matty Ice. Drew Brees (Despite My Hatred For Him) is a more than respectable QB. Matty Ice is a composure filled QB that lead a 4-12 team to 4 straight winning seasons (not saying anything else, I don't think he's in his prime yet). Josh Freeman, who despite his current season is a young talented QB. Cam Newton, who scares me the most, is an AMAZING QB who is putting up stats better than QB's like Tom Brady, Mike Vick, and Eli Manning. Hold me to the prediction he will win a Super Bowl and beat Brees' record. These guys are still young (except Brees). You would think while Brees is gone we will have a filed day, but don't look at the scores in the games, look at the QB's game. They are great. Brees has maybe two more good seasons and 2 other mediocre ones. That means in 5 years, Brees will be 37 and most likely gone. That leaves the other 3. More after the jump.
Let's start with Josh Freeman. In 5 years he will be 28 and a well experienced QB. Look at his stats, you would think that he would have at least one monster receiver, he doesn't really. His team is okay, but yet he carried them last year to 10-6 with a shot at the playoffs. Of course, he is still young and makes turnovers. In fact, when ever they play us you can expect a pick from the Grime Time. Now 5 years into the future, Draft/sign a good WR, some linemen, and some RBs. He then has a good team to back him up, he will be a monster.
Here comes Super-Cam! I will give you some of his stats, 34 Td's, 4000+ yards,295 completions. That's his rookie year. Of course though all rookies are not like Mr.Ryan was, he does have his fair share of mistakes, mainly turnovers. He does have a good team to back him up though. Decent Run game, A good WR in Steve Smith. He can get more though. This guy is putting tremendous numbers in passing and rushing. THIS GUY WILL BE AMAZING. Remember my prediction it will come through. He will be 27 in 5 years.
Now onto my boy Matty Ice. I DO NOT want to say anything about him just incase of the jinx monster. I'll just say one thing. So far he's following Drew Brees' footsteps. Drew Brees was also a great QB but not in the top 5. He was always up there in the top 10, like Ryan. Now, Brees had good targets in Antonio Gates and other people in the Chargers.Drew Brees got better as he got older, around 29-ish he hit his prime. Matt Ryan's 26. I will stop talking.
I'll rest my case by saying that one of our NFC South teams will win the Super Bowl in the next 5 years, I'll leave a poll to see what you all think.

Thanks for writing this
Brees will be a hall of famer and I think he’s still got 4 good years left. The league has soften down so I think qbs will be productive longer.
Cam newton is a monster but does turn the ball over
Matty ice is a very good game manager imo and he is a good qb and boy does he have some weapons to throw to.
Josh freeman had a nice year as a starter and hasnt played well since. He has looked like he did in preseason all year long. Some say its a slump I don’t know but he has earned at least another year without looking to replace him.
the qb that has the better defense will end up with the most rings.

Congratulations to your Falcons
Consecutive playoff appearances and the #5 seed against a beatable NFCE champion is huge deal.
I voted for the Saints- much as it churned my gut to do it. I have to think Brees has at least one more Super Bowl run in his tank.
With the 5th pick of the 2012 NFL draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select....
You deserve to be in the playoffs ATL...
and I wish you luck. We will circle the wagons and plot our wild NFL draft schemes.
