Buccaneers - Panthers Second Half Game Thread: Offense shows up, defense still sucks

The Bucs trail 20-10, but this game has not been as bad as previously hoped. The offense has shown signs of life, and Josh Freeman is nearly perfect on the day so far. The defense is still terrible, though, giving up 20 points so far.

The Bucs also showed some signs of discipline and accountability: Legarrette Blount was benched after fumbling on the first play of the game, while Tanard Jackson did not return after messing up on a 91-yard touchdown catch by Brandon Lafell.

Can the Bucs get back into this game, or will they continue to suck too much on defense to win?
