Tampa Bay Buccaneers know Carolina Panthers' Cam Newton may be a new quarterback prototype - Tampa Bay Times
You can't be a prototype when you have unique athletic talent. That can't be replicated. It's why Vick never changed the position. Well, that, and Vick kind of sucked.

Quite a few intriguing FA's next yr.

I especially am interested if the Saints place the franchise tag on Brees, which means they wouldn’t be able to use is on Carl Nicks. I’m not sure if he plays LG, but I’d like him there.

Another few from each team I’d like to see the bucs take a shot at:

Atlanta – Curtis Lofton, Brent Grimes, Thomas DeCoud

Saints – Nicks, Tracy Porter, Robert Meachem

I would be very surprised if the bucs were able to steal Nicks or Lofton from their respective teams, but food for thought.

That would be amazing.

If we were able to pull Lofton and Grimes from Atlanta, and Nicks from New Orleans, we would be able to move Foster outside where he can use his talents better. Nicks would strengthen the line, and give Joseph a road grating partner. Grimes would be our #1 corner immediately, even if Talib stays. Even with Grimes, we should still draft a corner in the 1st, especially if Mo Claiborne is there. With Lofton, that would give us the flexibility to get Mark Barron in the second round, instead of a linebacker. In the third, we should still get LaMichael James. Those three FA’s would fill needs, be immediate upgrades, and add relatively young veteran leadership to the team. Go Bucs!
