Cowboys - Buccaneers Injury Report: Arrelious Benn Out, Demarcus Ware Questionable

JACKSONVILLE, FL - DECEMBER 11: Arrelious Benn #17 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers runs for yardage during the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Field on December 11, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida. (Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)

Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys have a full injury report, but the Bucs have

For the Bucs, the most significant injury is Arrelious Benn's concussion, which rules him out for Saturday's game. Without Benn the Bucs lack speed at wide receiver, but Dezmon Briscoe is at least a capable replacement for the second-year receiver. In addition, the Bucs listed DE Michael Bennett, WR Sammie Stroughter and DT Brian Price as Questionable.

Missing Stroughter wouldn't hurt Tampa Bay much, but without Brian Price and Michael Bennett the Bucs would struggle to stop the run. If Price can't go, Roy Miller and Frank Okam will fill in for him, while Da'Quan Bowers will again see extended playing time if Bennett is not available. There is some good news: Aqib Talib is ready to go on Saturday, and the Bucs will certainly need him to stop WR Dez Bryant.

For the Cowboys, four starters are listed as questionable: C Phil Costa, G Kyle Kosier, CB Mike Jenkins and LB Demarcus Ware. Besides those four players, Laurent Robinson is also Questionable to play on Saturday. Missing those players would seriously hurt the Cowboys, as their already weak secondary would be hurt further with Jenkins' absence while Jay Ratliff would be the only real source of pass rush with Ware out. Missing two starters on the interior offensive line could allow Albert Haynesworth to run free as well.

none of this will make a difference

we cant stop the run and i really think they will rush for over 200 yards.
i guess we cant stop the pass either. at least we will have a top pick for next draft.

Your probably right....LOL!

Often when people are under pressure they have a short fuse….I’m going to watch it hoping to see Morris just start kicking players out the game when the Cowboys get a few TDs ahead and maybe even pop off at some Refs/players/coaches/fans/analyst and whoever else…. That is about the only entertainment this team Or “coach” can offer! SO READY for the next HC!!!!

Injury Report?

If Winslow, Parker, Blount, Foster, and Barber can go then there shouldn’t even be an injury report this year. So far those guys are the only exciting bucs to watch this year. Does anyone care if Benn is hurt honestly? We didn’t miss him last year at all, what a disappointment this year.
