I honestly think both guys will be back next year
I think the Glazers provide them both with 1 more FULL season to prove 2010 was no fluke.

Oh Dear God I hope you are wrong...
Olson: “I Feel Like We Have To Scale Back”
Oh yes, fewer crappy plays called at the wrong times will surely help. Ugh…

For the love of god do I hope you are wrong....
Olson is a terrible coach who needs to screw up another team like the cowboys instead….

Romo's been doing that just fine
For the last few years

Romo only screws up when it matters...
Plays fine otherwise.

I laughed when I heard the "scale back" comment.
We were very predictable before the “scale back”
So much for the Bucs lowering ticket prices, mine went up AGAIN!!!!
the glazer boys will screw us for one more year
RAHEEM IS A JOKE! OLSON IS GARBAGE! THE GLAZERS SUCK!

I am thinking the same thing. Gonna be exactly zero changes this off season.

pfftt
What eeks me is that with the “rebuilding process” (and you neglect the FA market) your putting off wins. Its a win(maybe big time) later mentality. But how are they going to expect fans to fill the stadium when winning is not their first intention. I’m not going to go spend money ($7 a beer) when next year is when it’ll get good. you know what I mean?
The ship is underwater. Hard to stay afloat when Olsons IQ is weighing down the floor.

I don't understand why people think...
the pursuit and signing of select young F/As endangers or deviates from the plan of building through youth and the Draft. You don’t give up ANY draft picks to sign a proven F/A, and the camp competition that is created by signing these better players only elevates their level of play. Not to mention generating some fan excitement and a presenting a more competitive team on the field.
No one builds EXCLUSIVELY through the draft. Everyone add select pieces through F/A and trade acquisitions – even Green Bay, New England and Pittsburgh (the examples so often used here).
It’s hard to speculate where we could be right now if we had only signed CB Jonathan Joseph, LB Stephen Tulloch, S Quentin Mikell and OT Doug Free. We most certainly would not have 4 wins.
by Cracker Ball on Dec 10, 2011 12:29 PM EST up reply actions
We might only have 4 wins CB because we would still have the same coaches here.....

Well Rah and Greg Olson are certainly not helping any...
but the veteran leadership provided by those 4 would probably have made some difference here.
I just want rah and Olson gone – a Dom gets a good “Napoleon Dynamite” slap.
by Cracker Ball on Dec 10, 2011 1:24 PM EST up reply actions
Having those veterans might have helped some...
But raheem and olson I dont trust… The bucs had better be more active in FA this year by bringing in and signing outside players….

Yeah some vets could have helped
but still with the horrible defense, and average offense, 8-8 might have been the best we could have done, still not good enough for year 3 of the “plan”. I would love to see the “plan” scrapped next year but I’m not sure the glazers have the common sense to realize the "plan’ aint working!

No 'steps back' have been taken in terms of talent accumulation
Which is the whole point of the plan.
That is true sander...
Guess I was referring more to the production on the field aspect…

What does it say about your so called "talent"
when both your coaches come out and say they have to dumb down the offense and the defense?what is the real reason so much hate is directed at olson, I know his offense stinks, but the defense that rheem puts on the field is worse, why is anybody still behind this clown? I am willing to bet any amount of money that raheems clown car defense could never stop olsons hack offense, anybody want to take that bet?

I don't bet money...
but I do have this Vikings helmet…
by Cracker Ball on Dec 10, 2011 5:54 PM EST up reply actions
Seriously iowa, olsons poor offense is equally as poor as raheems defense...
With both showing an occasional flash…
East Coast Fan
by Bucfan on Dec 11, 2011 1:46 AM EST via mobile up reply actions
The flashes are few and far between...
and I can’t imagine the Glazers allowing another year of this train wreck. If they do, I can’t think of any stronger evidence that the Bucs are just a cash cow and they truly don’t care about the team, the community and their self-respect.
To try and fail is one thing – to not try is something else.
