I am losing faith and interests
in our coaches ability to make the changes necessary to get a different result.
There is no reason any other back besides Blount should be on the field unless he is gassed.
Rejus should be on the field at every opportunity, even if that means sitting Parker or Winslow.
You should run the ball out of 3 receiver sets that dont involve shotgun, this will really give the playaction a boost and force the defense to use players that have no chance against Blount, or to keep LB's on the field that cant cover our receivers. (any of these guys play Madden).
Parker is no upgrade on kick and punt returns over Spurlock. He doesnt have the vision or the speed to make up for lack of vision that Spurlock provides.
The lockout is no longer an excuse in my eyes. Penalties are about self control and concentration, these men are paid lots of money to pay attention at the minimum and they cant do it. They are paid alot of money to control their emotions at a minimum and they cant do it. Maybe Raheem isnt connecting the he claims to be. Every week there is a key player making an extremely bad penalty at a critical moment, Aqib in the fourth quarter against the Bears, Blount "openhanding" an opponent against the Saints in the REDZONE. Smh!
They coaches watch tape week in and week out of the same exact horrible plays they call and scratch their head just like we do.Then come out and run the same horrid plays all over again expecting to get a different result.
Raheem boasts about being "physical, consistent, smart" and this team hasnt done it all year long. Well that type of philosophy starts with coaching, and even from last year there has been no improvement.
I know this post has no real direction, just had to get some stuff off my chest.

Yes, I too understand what is being said.
The Bucs have shown no improvement from last year. In fact, they are actually worse. Will it get any better? I have no clue..
I suspect a beatdown coming this weekend at the hands of the Texans if the Bucs dont get it together. Perhaps it is already too late….

I don't think we are worse that in 2010...
our opponents are just better in 2011.
Sadly, we are EXACTLY the same as we were in 2011 (except a shiny new punter) and THAT is the problem. The other teams in our division all got better and we stayed the same. We will lose one (maybe both) of our games with CAR if we don’t figure this out soon.
No we are absolutely worse than last year
I get the NFC West got us to 10 wins argument, but we are definitely playing worse this year than last year. Especially on offense.
Yugly.
I'm not so sure about that, actually
At least, if we look at the first half of ‘10. The ’11 Bucs’ offense is definitely worse than the late ’10 offense.
10-6 had a lot of us fooled, myself included

We still have a good base of younger players...
that, sadly, are playing like a bunch of younger players. Need some men to add to our boys. Can’t be afraid to add select F/A players in certain spots.
Just sayin’…
I have to hand it you dude
you weren’t fooled by 10-6 at all , like I was

I wanted to be wrong...
really I did. The problem here, in my opinion, is Raheem Morris’ inexperience and the good drafting but poor pro personnel knowledge by Dom. We could be having a strong season here in 2011 but we sat on our hands and let the valuable F/As get plucked up one by one.
We'll make a final call at the end of the season
I am not optimistic this year is going to look better than last year when it is over.
Yugly.
Maybe we dont want to win
Low quality cheap coaching staff, no free agency moves. I think these underachieving coaches might be too comfortable and they need to be put in the hot seat in regards to their jobs and see if that sparks a flame somewhere. When your team commits a penalty and the coach yells at you and you commit another penalty a play later then you just dont have any respect for your coach

I don't think that has anything to do with respect
And more with just stupidity.
Also, the Bucs haven’t exactly been cheap on their coaching staff. Two defensive line coaches. Top notch (and expensive) offensive line coach. Ditto RB coach. Presumably still paying for that OC and DC (both very expensive too) they fired in ’09. The only ones who are cheap are Olsen and Raheem – Raheem because this is his first job and Olsen because he was an internal promotion after they fired the expensive one.
