PrintThis is one ugly game, but the Bucs do look like the better team. Despite two lost fumbles and a kickoff return for a touchdown given up, the Bucs managed to tie the game with a late touchdown to Mike Williams. The Bucs managed to get two turnovers to help realize that: one fumble recovery, and a Geno Hayes interception.
And both offenses have looked sluggish in the passing game, but pretty strong on the ground. Both Matt Hasselbeck and Josh Freeman are throwing for just 4.2 yards per attempt, and Freeman has thrown a few too many off-target passes.
But the two running backs have done relatively well. Legarrette Blount has managed 42 yards on 11 carries and added 35 yards on a screen pass, while Chris Johnson is running for 5.1 yards per play on 9 carries for 46 yards.
The game is ugly, but the Bucs are tied and look like they can win this game if they fix their sloppy play. Let's see if they can do that in the second half.

He can blitz very well. But he didnt play the slot primarily. He played the slot at times just like Woodson.

But Talib follows #1 receivers wherever they line up, as does Revis. Nnamdi has actually played quite a bit of slot cornerback this year.
Obviously great cornerbacks can play both. My point is that someone like Biggers can play outside, but can’t function on the slot because he doesn’t have the short-area quickness or tackling ability to hang with someone like Welker, or Preston Parker.

You just contradicted yourself. You are making it seem like its harder to play the inside than the outside which is not true. If so than number one cb would play on the inside all the time. and the not so talented nickle back would always stay on the outside.

Mack does not have the same skillset as Biggers, at all. Mack is much more agile and has more quickness in the short area. Biggers is better covering receivers downfield.

And Ronde plays inside because he can cover the type of receiver that lines up inside. That’s all. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ronde was still faster than Biggers in a straight line anyway.
Also what I meant by that remark was that it wasn’t a case of easier/harder but a case of different.

‘Questionable’ is the standard notation for a lot of injuries, really. I’ve seen a lot of IRed players being listed as Questionable during a game.

May not be as good as Miller.There is also free agency too. Dont forget about Earnest Graham too.
