Im still optimistic that the Bucs still have a shot at the playoffs.
After the Texans game, I was ready to scrap up the season for my beloved team. It hurts to see the team as a whole get whipped like that. But after a couple of days to just reevaluate the rest of the season with a clear head, technically we are still in it. The opportunity for us to make a run for the playoffs will still be there for us to grab come week 17. Right now we can kiss the division goodbye. But the two wild card teams right now would be the Lions and Bears. You can look at their schedules and they both have it a little tough to close out. It sucks that we lost to both of those teams, but they have a record of 6-3. So we are 2 1/2 games back from both of them. We also trail the Cowboys by a game and the Falcons by a game who we both have to play and beat them. Obviously we need a little help from other teams and i think we will get some. Now all the Bucs have to do is win obviously. Now we are playing terrible. But if some miraculous way we can turn it around, and Freeman can start executing properly on offense and the defense can start tackling we can do it. We do have the Packers on a short week and we could upset them. I'm just being optimistic. But then we are left with the Jags, Titans, Panthers twice, Cowboys, and Falcons. Its going to be up to the Bucs to play better and take this wild card spot. But will they? I think so. I just hope I'm right.

I don't see it
The schedule is still pretty tough (the Panthers are no cakewalk, neither are the Titans). And the Bucs really haven’t put together one good game this entire season.
I'd say the Falcons and Saints games were at the very least good..
They can do it and this is why it is so darn frustrating watching them get beat on.
Rahiminik building a dynasty! Stephon Gilmore, Dre Kirkpatrick, Cliff Harris, JayRon Hoseley, Alfonzo Dennard, Morris Claiborne, Vontaze Burfict, or Mark Barron.. Are one of you guys the final piece to the puzzle here? Lots of QB's and OL this year, someone has to fall! ATL & NO don't have picks bwahahahaha
Even if we upset the Packers, and I think we might
I see us having a losing season
RAHEEM IS A JOKE! OLSON IS GARBAGE! THE GLAZERS SUCK!

Strictly speaking, we DO still have a shot.
If by having a shot you mean it’s mathematically possible. Optimism doesn’t enter into it.
If you’re optimistic that we WILL make the playoffs… I want what you’re smoking.
Am I going MAD, or did the word "think" escape your lips?
Lol
Im smoking what Tanard was smoking. But really I dont think it will happen but i do hope it happens.
Get it to Winslow. He's open!!!!
Me too, but that window is closing fast...

After what can be another embarrasing loss sunday
They will probably quit on themselves

I don't think so
We’d have to win 6 out of 7 for this to happen. There will be no playoffs this year.
Yugly.
Agreed
We need at least five wins in the last seven, but more realistically six. That means if don’t take this weekends game with the Packers we need to run the table. Just don’t see it happening. Those losses to the Bears and Lions are tough.
Tru those hurt.
And were winnable games. But we shall see. I just want to see better play at least.
Get it to Winslow. He's open!!!!
Yep
I also want to see some improvement the rest of the way. And I too am the optimistic type. I still have some small hope they can right the ship. Last time they got shellacked they came back and beat a good Saints team the next weekend. If they can pull the upset maybe they can gain some confidence and sneak into the playoffs.
Though I believe we lose on sunday,
I would like to see progress on the field. I want to see them hustle and at least attempt to tackle.
The thing that bothers me the most was the lack of effort by some of the players. That by itself is inexcusable. I will take effort and hustle with a loss versus lack of effort at all. That is never, ever acceptable……

I know some of you guys are thinking we might upset the Packers, but I don't see it happening.
Two padded practices or whatever they did this week isn’t going to derail that particular train. They will most likely dominate us on offense and defense. I think it’s gonna be ugly. With that being said, It means we would have to win out the schedule afterwards, just to end up at 10-6, with losses to the two teams that we are likely to be up against for the wild card. Any hope of the playoffs goes out the window with a loss to Green Bay.

i think that since our team is so young they dont realize what they are up against and thats an advantage
and to them this might be their superbowl this year, so it wouldnt surprise me if these players were playing 125% this week i’d credit that more to the opponent then to raheem, its the pretty normal match ups that this team seems to overlook and not play hard for.

we aren't beating the packers on sunday...
after that we would have to win every game left to be 10-6… and last season proved that it might not be enough…
Were not making the playoffs for sure

Imagine the irony...
of CAR knocking us out with a loss. It is not inconceiveable that we finish beneath CAR in the final standings.

I have a feeling.
The Lions and Bears will give up some ground in the wild card. Lions definitely. We got to run the table. Its coming down to the last game between the Falcons.
Get it to Winslow. He's open!!!!
Playoff..? you're talking about..playoffs?
sorry, i couldn’t resist.
But seriously, there’sno way in hades that we’re making the postseason.
i’m more interested in getting olsemn outta here.
