Josh Freeman has done decently on third down, but he hasn't played as well as he did last year. The Bucs are really struggling to get a downfield passing game going, which limits the third down options.

Foster is looking awesome
I thought we should keep Ruud, not because of Foster hate (I wanted him in the 2nd round!), but because I thought there’d be a stiff learning curve for him. He’s exceeded every single one of my expectations so far.
As for Benn and Williams, ya I don’t know what’s up. The passing game has been serviceable, but so far a definite step back from last year. I’m concerned but not freaking out yet.
I think part of Foster's success has been the system he is playing him.
He is allowed to be aggressive and play downhill. Had we stuck to the pure Cover 2, I think he would not have looked as good with him being forced to drop back into coverage so often.

Is it weird that we have heard literally nothing about Tanard Jackson?
He’s been suspended for longer than a year now, shouldn’t the NFLPA file a grievance or something for Goodell taking too long to reinstate him. How long has it taken other players in situations similar to Tanard’s to come back? Was it a year exactly, or longer?
We were speculating on this a bit yesterday
The short answer is nobody knows what’s going on, but it probably isn’t good news.
Yep
No one knows what’s happening. LIkely, though, there’s a good reason why hasn’t been reinstated yet.
