I didn't see much in the papers or on the news about it, only saw it when I checked the Wiki Deaths updates to see if anyone famous died on New Years yet... He was drafted out of NC State back in 2005 during the Third Round to play OT...
He was coming into the NFL with a history of medical problems. Colmer suffered from Parsonage Turner Syndrome back when he was drafted. He suffered another injury while with the Bucs, didn't he? And ended up getting cut by the team in 2007.
