Around SBN: Lakers Should Trade Andrew Bynum So He Doesn't Go To Waste

Bucs Beat at TBO bring us this article, in which Raheem Morris is quoted as saying that Cadillac will be spelled more often and Stroughter may be more suitable as a slot receiver in the third down packages. From this interview it appears Arrelious Benn will see significant time as the #2 vs. Cincinnatti after the bye.

Morris flirts with the media too much...

…Why don’t you worry about how our LBs are 5-7yards off scrimmage!?

Speaking to the media is an integral part of being a head coach

Can’t get away from that, and there’s no reason why it would interfere with his coaching.

The defense looked very good against the Browns and Panthers,

While thats not saying much, we still stopped potent ground attacks and the entire defensive scheme shouldnt be thrown out on a knee jerk reaction.

You want them sitting in between the tackles at ever snap then you will complain that we give up to many short passes that turn into long gains, and that would be because there is a HUGE VOID in the middle of the field where our linebackers USED TO BE.

Josh Freeman will be better than Matt Ryan, not so sure about Drew Brees!!

I'm glad

That Blount will get more carries. The guy was one of the few Buc players that had a good game on Sunday. Plus I like that he runs with a lot of power. We need that.
And it’s about time that Benn is gonna see some signifigant playing time. The Bucs gotta see what he can do.

I called

Blount! lol, though i hope our bucs work on our Defense, our QB is decent, our RBs decent, our WR are decent; they will score points, we gotta STOP people…

Man I hope Blount works out well for you guys

I always liked the way he ran in college. I really like the kid and his style of running. Elite not quite yet but I think with the right dedication and line, I think he can be up there with the best.

I think blount will take a lot more from caddy

I see blount getting the bulk of the caries come week 8 or 9. The guy is a load and he is always going to fall forward for atleast a few yards. If he continues to average 4 or 5 yards a carry that would be great.

I am really excited to see benn. I think that benn and Williams can be a good duo for many years. They are big, explosive and both have alot to prove. I think the prob with starting sammiebis that he is only 5’ 9 or so and our qb who is 6’6 can’t find him on the outside.

I know that...

Raheem has takn alot of heat from fans but I always liked his direction and he keeps bringing talent to the team. I love Caddy and what hes done but Blount is an absolute beast and splitting them is a good idea. [just DONT punch anyone!] and Rejus NEEDS to start opposite of Williams. If you drafted him for Freeman than he needs the time to develop WITH Freeman just like Williams. I see big things coming for team. Proud to be watching “the plan” unfold. GO Bucs!!!! Fill those seats!!!

ah....

and Cody “The Grimm Reaper” will fix his coverage problems during the bye week. TJack will be missed but Grimm can play. Solid open field tackler. Lets see what he looks like after 2weeks with the starters.
