Josh Freeman Ahead of schedule?
Hey guys just saw this story on www.rotoworld.com looks like Josh will be ready for week 1, and if he isn't would it really matter considering the way Josh Johnson has been playing in the preseason? Also a side topic do you think Derrick ward is washed up in tampa?
Thanks.

I read that he should be ready
He started his rehab on his day off and threw a little to some of the trainers. He has also been shadowing JJ and Carpenter now that Rah has let him back on the practice field.
Haven't they been saying all along he'd be ready for Cleveland?
It only takes 12 days to heal I believe is what they said, and it’s been 10 since the injury.
If an optimist had his left arm chewed off by an alligator, he might say in a pleasant and hopeful voice, "Well this isn't to bad, I don't have a left arm anymore but at least nobody will ever ask me if I'm left-handed or right-handed" but most of us would say something more along the lines of "Aaaaaa! My arm! My arm!" DANIEL HANDLER (as Lemony Snicket)
While he might be ready,
it would certainly matter if he wasn’t. Freeman looks heads tails above where Johnson is. J J just doesn’t seem to have that poise a starting QB exhibits.
5 picks out of the first 100 in a draft saturated with talent. Yes, I'm optimistic.
I agree...
It does matter.
JJ’s a fine back up for us and it’s nice to see him do relatively well in the preseason, but Freeman having time to develop and just getting that in-game experience is more valuable than a win at this point. My point is, even if you believe JJ gives us a better chance to win this game because Freeman’s finger might be bothering him is irrelevant. Freeman needs to play a season from start to finish. That will do more for our offense in the long run, in my opinion.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
Freeman gives us a better chance of winning anyway
However, if playing means his thumb doesn’t heal as well that’s going to hamper him all season. I doubt that’s the case, though, the team’s been very careful with him.
I read something today i cant find where that they have already taken the cast off
