Mr. Clayton Goes to Washington?
No, I don't think so but I think he goes somewhere when he doesn't make the 53 man roster. I think we all agree that the Clayton for Haynesworth Trade was one of the most ludicrous rumors to come out of a sportswriter's mouth. But What happened to Clayton and where does he go from here?
I remember watching him On Brighthouse Sports Show during his rookie season. He portrayed himself as a humble young man wanting to make a lasting impression. Then prior to his second season he was back on being interviewed and he was more cocky; dressed in clothes and bling that probably cost more than my entire wardrobe. So his head swelled and his hands got smaller. So who out there needs a receiver? The Raiders, Jets, Rams...

Anywhere but here, IMO
Why he’s got this far I don’t know. A question you have to ask yourself is, why has TB given a complete bust a 5year/26mil contract and keep trying to make a lead boat float?
We shoulda given Javon Haye(And Adams RIP) the patience we’ve given this bum WR. I’m salivating at the thought of cutting him.
Sorry for Double Post, I didn't answer the question lol
A. We should try to trade him in division, given he drops more balls than Lisa Lampinelli.
B. Buffalo? Detroit? Jacksonville? (Besides these three, I don’t see a team even needing him. Time to start busing tables, bub)
I wish wee could get something for him via trade
But I think everyone in the league knows he’s gonna get cut.
Yeah.....we have absolutely no leverge.
If we tried far earlier, we may have had a chance. Not sure if we did or not.

Washington isn't really all that unlikely
Especially with Malcolm Kelly getting injured again. But I’d bet it would only happen as a waivers/free agent pick-up, not as a trade.
I doubt he carries any value, but..
maybe go shopping for proven DE in exchange for Clayton + Draft picks . But like Sander said, he probably won’t be dealt but released. Either way, I’m excited to see who takes his roster spot in stride
Sander is probably right
All we will get from him is a very, very bitter feeling from his lack of productivity and his insane contract.
Contract really isn't an issue, he's guaranteed money has been paid (or will/can be paid by the Bucs) and anything else can be renegotiated.
If an optimist had his left arm chewed off by an alligator, he might say in a pleasant and hopeful voice, "Well this isn't to bad, I don't have a left arm anymore but at least nobody will ever ask me if I'm left-handed or right-handed" but most of us would say something more along the lines of "Aaaaaa! My arm! My arm!" DANIEL HANDLER (as Lemony Snicket)
He's already there.
