Introducing Buc'Em Fantasy Football, SBNation and CBSSports.com Style
I heart Fantasy Football. You probably do, too.
As such, why don't we all get together and form wonderful fantasy football leagues together? Fortunately, CBSSports.com, the BESTEST of all things best in the Fantasy Football world, is our white knight in this case. They have formed a lovely partnership with SBNation and are offering up their far-superior leagues, which are normally $180, for 50% off this season....or $90 for you non-math whizzes. If you break that down among 12 teams, that's about $7.50-ish per participant. $7.50. Or $9/person in 10-team leagues. One fast-food meal out of your week. So freaking worth it.
But I'm not just pitching it blindly...I've been a satisfied client of CBSSports.com's fantasy football leagues for years. The quick live scoring and regular, in-depth pieces from Dave, Jamey, and the rest of the staff, are unparalleled in my humble opinion. Here are some fantastic features of CBSSports.com leagues:
This is the type of coverage I love with CBSSports.com and why I personally believe they are the best league in all of fantasy football.
Now, for the Buc'Em league........
I will be putting together a 10-team CBSSports.com league consisting of myself and Buc'Em writers and readers. Basically, it will be impossible to get everyone into this league, but I will do my best to accomodate everyone interested. If I can't get you into the league, please don't be upset. There are alot of valued readers and participants on this site, so please don't take not being included as a snub or a slight. If you want to be in the league, please leave a comment below and state if you'd like to be in our league and why. I will do my best to make a fair determination of who's in and will announce the league as soon as I get it put together.
For those that don't wind up in this particular league, no sweat. Be the first to set up another league, and another, and so forth. Make sure to use this linkin order to get the 50% discount when you set up a league. Coordinate with other readers/set up a fanpost advertising the league/whatever. Like I said before....it's easy enough to front the (half-off) payment and then get the per person amount from each participant. It's also pretty darned cool to be a league commissioner, so jump on that opportunity. Heck, I might jump into another one if it gets set up and there is room...I am kind of a fantasy football fiend.
So without further ado, let's get it on, Buc'Em!!!!!!!

I'd like to join the league
I think I’ve been very active on Buc Em, including posting fanshots and fanposts and in discussions, and I’d love to compete against the other Buc Em guys.
Besides that, I really like fantasy football. It’s one of the reasons I got a lot more actively interested in the details of the NFL and I certainly won’t be an inactive player.
I want in
Reasons being…..
I like fantasy football. I’m pretty active on this site. I have no problem payin up my 7.50 ish.lol and um I have much free time and this will eat up some of that.
Don't see the point of a pay league
Unless the winner gets the pot. Theres so many free sites that are customizable, it doesn’t make since to pay for it. I have payed for the ones I play with my brothers but like I said, winner gets the pot.
I would love to play!
I am way into Fantasy Football (Just picked up some guides for this year again.). As a Bucs fan out in CA there aren’t many Bucs fans to talk to about the team and most of the guy’s in my other league are Raiders fans. Please don’t leave me stuck with just them. Just email me an address and I’ll send my check right away! Thanks. Chris

I WANT TO PLAY
I am a very dedicated fantasy owner I always check on my team and update my rosters. I also provide a humous pieces of trash talk to kind of keep things interesting. I have been a fantasy owner on yahoo for the past 8 years and usually do pretty well… Last year in the 3 leagues I was in I finished in the top three in all leagues.
Raheem Morris + 2010 = Buccaneer in the playoffs

If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
Hmmm. It's not clear to me if the winner gets paid.
If not, why would you pay to join a league?
