Ruud sees his tender as a "one-year, prove-it deal", also talks new defense and draft

Check out the link. Sounds like he isn't bitter about his tender at all, but approaching it healthily and hoping to have a great 2010. On the defensive scheme, he says people stopped believing in the scheme Jim Bates was implementing because they didn't have success in it. Sounds like a vicious cycle. He says the new scheme is a mix of Bates' scheme and the old Tampa 2, something that hasn't been done anywhere yet and in which he has a lot of confidence. He also likes Suh more than McCoy, but would be very happy with McCoy too. He basically says what everyone already knew: McCoy is the protoypical 3-technique that Monte Kiffin loved to have, while Suh is just a freak.
