So the NFL draft is almost a week away, and this year it's starting on a Thursday night. You got anything planned for a Thursday night? Well, I don't. So who's up for wasting money at a sports bar watching the draft?
It's more fun to go in a group to a sports bar: you get to sit with others of shared interests and yell and argue over what your sports team (lower the parking lot fees!) needs to do (cheaper nachos!) as the draft commences (upper deck seats cost HOW MUCH?!). Oh, and talking about who the Bucs need to draft to improve this coming autumn.
I went last year to one of those Buffalo Wild Wings, down in Oldsmar on Tampa Rd. If you were there you might remember me as that fat guy in the corner screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOO" because I wasn't thrilled with the idea of us drafting a QB whose draft value was Second Rounder at best. Ah, but that was then. I'm sure the restaurant owners will let me back this year...
But is that a good place to gather? Where else is a good sports bar to hang out for draft day night?
Offer comments and suggestions beeeeee-low.
