The past few years have been below average drafting for the Bucs. We must break that trend to contend. I know that I have have been raving about Tampa picking up Suh or Mccoy and Mays . Even if we don't get 1 we still need to pic up at least 4 players that can make a difference on our team. We have started to break the trend if the Bucs 2009 draft was anything it was average or better . The thing about that was we were drafting at a low place cause the Bucs almost made the playoffs . This draft should be a good one like when we drafted Sapp and Brooks together we are drafting at a good position . Morris said and he is mathematically correct we were in every game except when we played the two NY teams which means 1 or 2 more game changing players then our record would be a lot better those were the players that got released Brooks , Dunn , June , we lost Phillips which gives us great depth at linebacker but to stay on point these game changing players are going to be available for us to pick . The front office just got to make sure that they get this thing right following my plan that I laid out in one of my earlier posts (The New Sapp, Brooks , & Lynch) will be going in the right direction . I don't know their plan in 07 but we got 4 to 5 guys that are doing good now on the team the the only thing wrong wit that group is that we drafted Gaines Adams 1st which turned out to become a second round pic after he got traded to the Bears . We will look back at this draft in 4 to 5 years and say that these guys got us over the hump im sure of it there is to much talent available on both side of the ball to fail like I said earlier the front office got to make sure they get it right.
