Jags was the Offensive Coordinator through the first 3 preseason games and was then replaced by Greg Olson. Who would you rather have? Is this just a temporary solution or is Olson the guy?
Under Jags, the bucs were last in Yards per attempt at 5.2 over the first 3 preseason games. In Olson 1 game , QB's were 19 for 38, 263 yards, 2td , 3int. Yards per attempt were 6.7. Does anyone see an improvement in the offensive play calls? Olson has been a successful coordinator in this league, he had the Rams OC position. As the OC , Olson had a 4,000 yard passer (bulger), stephen jackson (1,500 yards rushing), 2 (1,000 yard receivers in Holt & Bruce).
Jags has been a successful head coach at Boston College but it was pretty evident that he was looking for more of a west coast passing game by the short routes. Could Jags have brought success to the bucs offense if he would have had more time?
Is Olson going to get the job done in Tampa? Can this be an efficient offense that can go deep and burn teams when they put 8 or 9 in the box?
